Artifact Consultation
If you’re curious about an artifact in your collection, but aren’t sure you want a Writing Summary or Exhibition Design, a Consultation provides a brief overview of the historical and art historical context of the artifact. All consultations are confidential. We do not do appraisals. If you are interested in learning the value of an object, we recommend consulting an appraisal service.
Writing Summary
We conduct doctoral level historical and art historical research. If you’re searching for more information for your internal records, we’re happy to write a white paper for you detailing what information was found regarding your object of interest.
Exhibition Design
Beginning with doctoral level historical and art historical research, we create exhibition designs that focus on the story of the artifact. Working with the client, the design may focus on the artifact’s provenance, the intended message of the artifact at the time of its creation, or the significance of the artifact over time.
